Even Though We Do Stuff Wrong...He Loves Us.

Jesus Loves You. This is TRUTH. Don’t forget it. Jesus died in your place. Because He FIRST LOVED US. Even though we sinned, and were not abiding in His love at the time, or maybe we did something wrong anyway, or said something wrong either unknowingly, knowingly, or half-knowingly, HE LOVED US STILL. HE LOVES US STILL, even though He knows that we are sinners. Even though we disobey Him, He loves us. Even though we don't always think good thoughts, He loves us. Even though we try to do things without His help, sometimes not even realizing it, He loves us.

Even though…._________________________

He loves us!

So repent, and follow God.

Verse of the Week #56 Easter

For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance : that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,

8 and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.
4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
5 and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve.
6 After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. 7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, "
-1 Corinthians 15:3-8 (NIV)
I used to get this verse written out. I put the quotation marks & address/version below.
And just if you're wondering, it was Paul speaking in the verse above.
Happy Easter everyone! And don't forget to submit your short story in....

Miracles From Heaven (My Movie Review)

Hello friends, I just came home from watching, Miracles From Heaven, and here are my thoughts.
I thought this was a touching movie.
I actually teared up at parts of this movie. I can't give it away, but the little girl in the movie, Anna, gets sick, and then receives a miraculous miracle. And this movie shows the mom's struggle as well as a little bit of Anna's and the family's.
I watched this with a friend, who is like a second grandma to me, and she said she would probably buy it. She even teared up, too, during the movie.
But it was a good movie, and it left me full of hope and joy. It made a really good point, in the movie. It was this quote by Albert Einstein.

"There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle."

So these are some of my ratings on this movie.
Rating: PG (I think this was a perfect rating.)
Cinematography: 4 Stars.
Actors for the parts: I am sort of undecided between 5 or 4 stars, though most were perfect for their parts.
Would I watch it again? Yes.
More than once again? It's possible, though I don't know for sure. Maybe yes, maybe no?
Story Plot: It ran at a good pace. It did make you wonder what happens to the little girl in the end.
Story Speed: Fitting.
Over All Thoughts: It was a good movie, though I tend to like movies with more action. As a movie that goes through what real life can be like, and for being a true story, I think it was made well.

Verse of the Week #55

Hello everyone. I hope you had a good week last week. Did anything fun happen? Well, this week I am not only sharing a verse.--but a chapter! This is Proverbs 3, and I copyed it from Bible Gateway, and just adjusted the text a little to fit my blog better. Well, have a good week!
This is the question for today. "How do I attain wisdom?" And this my friend, is the answer. "Read the Bible, breathe it in, breath it out. Memorize verses, and remember them. I really need to work on this, but let me tell you something! I memorized one verse--one verse--and it changed my outlook on things. So what would happen if I was (and you are too) filled with God's word? I think then, our lives would take an unexpected turn. I hope to try to memorize more scripture in the future. This is a chapter that my Mom had us start to memorize when I was younger, but we never finished it, and I can't quote all of it perfectly anymore, but I would love to memorize it again...that's an idea!
"My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
11 My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction:
12 For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.
13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.
15 She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.
16 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.
17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.
18 She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.
19 The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.
20 By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.
21 My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:
22 So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck.
23 Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.
24 When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.
25 Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.
26 For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.
27 Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
28 Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.
29 Devise not evil against thy neighbour, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee.
30 Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm.
31 Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways.
32 For the froward is abomination to the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous.
33 The curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.
34 Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.
35 The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools."

What Would You Pick? (Places/Your House)

Let's have some fun!
Now, if you don't know, I am an unprofessional photographer (as in it's one of my hobbies) who currently has no camera. Yes, I need to get one very soon. But I haven't yet, so I got the pictures for this blog post from Pixabay. Sorry, folks. But hey, it's okay.

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO TO PARTICIPATE in this is to comment on which you would rather. When you comment, indicate your answer with the question number, and picture (a) or (b). Make sure to glance at my comment if you are confused.

1. For 5 years, would you rather live in rural Missouri,
or seaside Maine (both in America)?

2. Would you rather spend one week living here,
 or here?

3. Which couch would you pick?

4. Which chairs would you rather?

5. Which would you want in your backyard?

6. How about these?
Alaska (usa),

or Yellowstone National Park (usa)?

7. If you had an man-made pond somewhere in your backyard, which flowers would you pick to be in it?

Have a good day!
If you want to know what I picked, look in the comments below.

Verse of the Week #53

God bless, and be with, you and the people you know!
I found that the Moody Radio site had a verse of the week also, and so I used their verse of the week for the one I post today. It is a good verse, and I like it. But instead, I decided to share it in a different version. I am not sure what version they used, though.

Proverbs 19:20-21
"Listen to advice and accept discipline, and at the end you will be counted among the wise. Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails."

Have a good week!
Is there anything you want to share about you, or about this verse? Comment if you do!
