More Beautiful You

I wanted to share this with all the girls who struggle with how you look. I want you to know that you ARE beautiful, and I don't have to see you to tell you that.
As Aslan would say,"Don't run from who you are."

The video was based on the Narnia movies if you were wondering.

Right Beside You---Building 429

This song is by Building 429. I wanted to share this to show you that "when the world is caving in" He is always with you! Even when you don't feel Him. Take heart! He is your friend, and he cares about what you care about.

This is me sledding about 4 or 5 years ago.
When you feel like you are about to fall, He is under you to catch you.

Fog & Frost

When I looked outside today this is what I saw.

So goes the tale of Fog & Frost.
One night, the freezing cold caused frost to form on the ground. That morning, a cloud named Fog decided he wanted to visit the earth.  Ta Da! ~LAUGH~

I hope you have a good day, friend.
God bless you!

  • The Liebster Award is given to bloggers by other bloggers.

 2.  What's your favorite indulgence just for you?
I like Cranberry slushes at Sonic.

Jesus, and Mrs. Black at my church.

 5.  What's your favorite book?

Questions of Forgiveness

I recently got a comment from a girl on my post Your Future, she asked about forgiveness, and I have been wanting to write about this, so this is what she said, and this is my answer.

The question:
How can I know for sure that
God has forgiven me. I have ask for forgiveness several times but I am so unsure that He has forgiven me. Can you help me?

My answer:
I have gone through the same exact thing a few months ago. Anyway, I did not know for sure that I was forgiven for the things I did either, but soon I found what I was looking for. I call it The Four Steps To Forgiveness.
1. Recognize your sin as a sin.
2. Ask God to forgive you.
Let me explain. God is an all-forgiving God. The moment you ask for forgiveness, He forgives you! He forgave you when He died on the cross, and if you asked for it, you ARE forgiven now! Now, I have found it easier to believe that I am forgiven if right after I ask, I wait a moment--take a deep breath if you want--and say, "Thank you God". Because even if you can't actually hear Him, He forgave you.
3. Ask forgiveness of the people you either did the sin with or against, or people who might have been affected by what you did.
This is a hard one. It one of the hardest for me, but I asked God to help me, and He did.
4. Forgive yourself.
YES! Here is the answer to the question you asked: you have not forgiven yourself yet. You see, Satan is throwing darts of guilt at you. That is the ONLY weapon he has, or ever will have. You will never feel forgiven if you never forgive yourself, even if you are forgiven. So every time you feel like you are not forgiven say- out loud if you have to- "I am forgiven! And I forgive myself".
That is how you are forgiven. I hope this helped you. You are forgiven sister, but now is the time to claim our forgiveness. I even struggle with this sometimes, all Christians do. The only power Satan has, is the power we allow him.

I hope this has helped you on your journey!
You are forgiven!

I Love Movie Soundtracks

Okay, I am one of those people who would just love to have a soundtrack in the background of my life. I mean, who wouldn't? Life would be so much more interesting if we had music in the background. It could turn riding your bike into an action scene! I just love listening to music.
My absolute favorites:
Narnia The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe
Narnia Prince Caspian
I haven't listened much to the third Narnia's music.
Lord of The Rings
Pirates of The Caribbean

Want to listen to a few of the songs from Narnia?
This is what I found.

I did not watch any of the Lord of The Rings or Pirates of The Caribbean, so I did not add those videos. I suggest going to Pandora if you have an account and make a playlist of movie soundtracks. If you are wondering, Harry Gregson Williams composed Narnia.

Your Future

So I was thinking...
God can't wait to see what you will do with your life even though he already knows. He is excited for you! He also knows all the decisions you're going to make. Some will make him sad, and others will put a smile on his face.  Nothing Ever Occurs To God. He loves you and he always has. You just need to believe it. Maybe God has shut a door in your life that you really wanted to go through. Maybe you are in a dark room searching for a door out, and you feel alone. Well stop searching. Ask God to help you, and He will help you find the door you were meant to go through all along. You just never asked. He wants to help you always. But he gave you the decision. You have to make it. Are you going to just search? Alone? In the dark? Or are you going to cry out to Jesus and receive his help?

I think you know the answer.
This is a post that I have written in the past, but I wanted to share it again with you.
