Over the child that in a hospital bed laid.
For the girl had cancer and would surely die.
And this mother could do nothing but pray as she cry.
Over the bed she stood, crying over the breathless form,
For her loved one had just passed away in the storm.
She thought no more would they ever meet,
But only in memories oh, so sweet.
With nothing she could do, she headed for the door.
For there were no signs of life anymore.
But suddenly behind her the body took breath,
Alive once again, raised from its death.
She thanked God, for her prayers had received an answer,
For her daughter now lived, and survived the cancer.
So now you can plainly see,
That there is power in bending your knee.
For God hears you,
And there is nothing he cannot do.
